Can anyone tell me why it is impossible to find lamb or veal kidneys anymore? I know there are restaurants that sell dishes with them as an ingredient, so why can't I find them anywhere? You used to be able to find them in any supermarket without a problem. My dad would take lamb kidneys and marinate them in some sort of soysauce/worcestershire sauce, wrap them in bacon and put them on the barbeque. We loved them as kids. I also love devilled veal kidneys. Can anyone shed some light on this?
